The Parceling Hymn Of Heaven And Hell | Joseph Relativo-Brandon Joseph

No radiance / but hers / hails each dappled night / Beyond the blankness / of a mind without / time / The moon whimpers / over the death / of the light / So hateful is the way / of a sanctimonious / clime / That the stars / now opt to wilt / and greet demise / Yet still I see / the gleam / in her undaunted eyes / Seas slink with fear / as she flutters her hands / Across the dimness / of the bleakest mystery / While the ground prepares / along the sands / Its own burial / shall be as plaintive / as history / The world is about to die / doleful in her arms / I tighten the renunciation / of all her charms / The wrought sky / pours down / a repentant woe / She utters / a word that upends / the bleats of fire / The sun writhes / at long last / as a conquered foe / Of the latter tears / of mankind shed / in the mire / Her chants pare / the wind / and smite a lonely belle / Do heed the parceling hymn / of Heaven and Hell.
