The Death Of Every Human Vanity
God carved / a footing / in one storied barrier / The unkind wind / changes / The Scarlet Letter / Into a hue / that is more dreaded / which is / the all in all / Woeful / is the destiny / of the world / about to fall / The whole universe / can be / the widest prison / The pride / of mortals at fault / can no longer reason / In the loudest clamor / God shall silence / egos / Aimless / shall be the cry / of the culpable / so it goes / Guilty souls / are inmates / detained / by kismet / Alas! / they shall be forced / to pay / each debt / For thousands of years / the torrents whipped / The cove between / the dungeon / and the sea lipped / To tear down / the wall / of the feigning society / Shamefully pestiferous / God shall shatter it / with fluency / The longest communion / of all time / is but a try / To appease the Lord / with sham devotion / that shall only fry / And grill / their pretenses / the dug grave / is ready / To receive / the death / of every human vanity.
